"A Night to Remember"

Retro Hour on Vividh-bharti introduced me to the heavenly voice of Bryan Adams years ago and ever since then he has been a part of my life. An important one. In many ways, an inspiration to my musical side. It had been my dream to see him perform live and sure enough it was a breathtaking experience. Out of this world. Writing about it would be an injustice to what it was like and how I felt but I would still like to share.

Even after an insane crowd, 2.5 hours of delay, standing for 6 hours straight, it was worth every single second. Very special company and yes, I couldn't have asked for more. In his last show in India for this tour, he was generous enough to sing for two hours, almost all the major hits and more and a special treat of 2 songs from his yet to release album, Bare Bones. Obliging all the "one more" shouts.
Summer of 69, Everything I do, 18 till I die, Cloud no.9, I am Ready, Here I am and many many more. And an awesome guitar piece by Keith Scott. I could still hear his voice singing "Somebody" in the back of my mind and my ipod constantly playing him ever since I returned to the normal world. Oh! How I wish the time had slowed.

Surely, "A Night to Remember".

Can't wait to see him again.

P.S.  'Please forgive me, I can't stop loving you.'
